That’s a lot of words to describe a good time, even for a really, really bad time. We could say that when we’re in the midst of a huge financial emergency, every time we use words like “wake up”, “dare I’m here?” or “make a major decision?”, we’re like, “Okay, this is for us.
The fact is that for every good, sad, or even not-so-good time there is a bad and a worse. There’s a good for everything on this planet, and there’s a bad for everything on this planet. But I don’t think we can generalize about bad times as much as we can about good times.
I think my favorite example of a bad time occurred in an airplane, when it hit turbulence. You know, really, really bad turbulence. And as a result, we all got drunk and had sex with each other. My favorite, and most obvious, example of a good time occurred when I was in college and I was in a very good mood. I was doing what you would expect someone in a good mood to do, and it was a good time.
On my last birthday, my friend Steve and I had a great time. It was a party that we were both aware of, and we had a great time. But we were both in good moods, and it was a good time. We even had a good time without getting drunk. We had a good time. But this time was different. This time, we were drunk. We were both drunk. And we were both drunk. And we were both drunk.
So, what does this mean? Well, it means there’s a very good chance we’re going to die in the next two days. We don’t know this yet. We have no idea when we will die, but there’s a good chance we’ll die in two days or less. Deathloop will be over in three days. So unless we can survive two days on the island, we probably won’t make it out alive.
As part of our research into Deathloop, the developers have been experimenting with a “slam dunk” experiment that will allow them to make some pretty important discoveries about the game. In the next few days, they will be launching a series of tests, in which they will send players through a variety of difficult situations, and see if they can predict which ones will kill them.
One of the things I find most interesting about Deathloop is that although the island itself is made of sand, the sand itself is moving. So while it appears that the island is still the same sandball, it’s actually moving. This is a really neat twist on the usual “this thing that’s moving is still the same thing it was” idea.
The players will also get to see some strange things in the sand, like a giant turtle with its head, and a couple of birds who have been left behind. Or something like that.
The island itself is the location of the party-meeting where the Visionaries are holding an island meeting. We learn that the Visionaries have created a time loop, preventing anyone from leaving the island without their knowledge. It’s explained that since death is inevitable, it seems the only way to kill someone is by making them disappear from existence. In addition, we learn that the Visionaries have figured out a way to manipulate gravity so that they can use the island to their advantage.
Speaking of gravity, the last time we saw Colt we were on a boat somewhere and he was falling off the edge. Since then his gravity has been boosted to the extreme, and he is now able to fly through the air. That means he has the wings and the power to fly. We also learn that he can change his mood and even his appearance to fit his needs. It’s a neat trick, but I love the fact that he’s able to do it without anyone knowing.
